Reading Passage – نص القراءة

A Visit to London – by Sarah

Last summer, I had the chance to visit London with my family. It was an unforgettable experience! London is a magnificent city with a rich history and stunning landmarks.

On our first day, we visited Big Ben, the famous clock tower near the Houses of Parliament. We could hear its loud bell ringing every hour. It was amazing! Next to it, we saw the Westminster Bridge over the River Thames.

On the second day, we went to Buckingham Palace to watch the Changing of the Guard ceremony. The guards were dressed in red uniforms and tall black hats. My little brother was fascinated by the soldiers!

Our most exciting experience was riding the London Eye. From the top, we could see the whole city — the River Thames, the bridges, the parks and the skyscrapers. It was breathtaking!

On our last day, we visited the British Museum and saw the famous Rosetta Stone. London is truly a wonder of the world! I can’t wait to go back there one day.
